Gemma Merna is better well known as Carmel Mcqueen on the Channel 4 teen soap Hollyoaks. She joined the cast in 2006 and instantly brightend up the Hollyoaks set as fiery and sexy Carmel.
Gemma is represented by the Manchester based acting group, Lime Management and has also had a brief appearance on Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother Hijack which was shown on E4 in 2008.
She has made quite an explosive impact on the young males in the UK, by posing for numerous semi nude poses in some glossy mens magazines and some Daily and Sunday Newspapers.
One thing about Gemma is that she is still only very young and culd be considered to be at the start of her acting career but one thing is for certain, I think Gemma Merna is destined for bigger things when she eventually does decide to leave Hollyoaks.
